Our Story

Story of Me was founded in 2019 after searching for a special gift for our new baby daughter, Flora. We came across personalized gifts and thought these were really neat - what better way to mark our new arrival than a gift with her beautiful name woven throughout it!

We came across some personalized books, but felt that these were more of a gimmick, rather than a genuine, meaningful story involving our daughter. It was then that we had the idea to come up with new, original stories and adventures, that help develop a love of reading in kids, as well as delivering that special personal touch.

Since then, we've sold tens of thousands of books across our Etsy stores and beyond, putting smiles on the faces of kids and grown ups across the world. Our new Shopify store gives us the chance to reach more parents, relatives and friends than ever before, so we can share the love and joy that goes into every one of our books.
